Informational Meeting Sioux Falls City Council |

Members Present: Sue Aguilar, Kenny Anderson Jr., Vernon Brown, James Entenman, Michelle Erpenbach, Greg Jamison, Dean Karsky, Rex Rolfing and Mayor Mike Huether
Members Absent: None
Staff Present: Debra A. Owen, City Clerk/Chief of Council Operations and Tamara Jorgensen, CMC, Assistant City Clerk

Council Chair Sue Aguilar called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m. |

A. |
Owen gave an update on the Districting Commission Resolution which will be presented at the July 5th City Council Meeting; SECOG and UDC Resolutions will also be available at that same meeting. Owen reported that the City Clerk's office did not receive an electronic copy of the Naming Rights presentation until shortly before this meeting. Therefore, the attachments will not be available online until tomorrow. Handouts are available to the audience at this meeting. |

Anderson Jr. gave an update stating that the Council Procedures and Organization ordinance and the Administrative Appeals ordinance are moving forward to the entire City Council for review. |

Karsky gave an update on a neighborhood meeting held at the Hy-Vee, 10th street and Kiwanis Avenue. It was well attended by neighbors and city staff. Karsky commended representatives from city staff for their attendance and for working so well with the citizens. |

A motion was made by Michelle Erpenbach and seconded by Vernon Brown to go into Executive Session at 4:58 p.m. for the purpose of discussing pending litigation pursuant to SDCL 1-25-2(3). Council Chair Aguilar called for a voice vote on that motion and all members voted yes. Motion Passed. Discussion started at 5:00 p.m. A motion was made by Kenny Anderson Jr. and seconded by Rex Rolfing, to exit Executive Session at 5:35 p.m. Council Chair Aguilar called for a voice vote on that motion and all members voted yes. Motion Passed. |

City Council Chair Sue Aguilar adjourned the meeting at 5:37 p.m. |
